The inexplicably miserable Sakaki's voice is provided by the talented singer Yu Asakawa. She was born in Tokyo, Japan on the 20 March in 1975. Interestly enough, the only pictures of Yu I can find are all of her sullen. And she also voices the character Motoko from Love Hina, who is almost exactly like Sakaki in appearance. Though Motoko's much more tempramental and not at all into cute fluffy cats and the like.
